Thanks to all of the members who have been attending the recent events. We not only had a good time at the Rowdy's, Nelly,s and the Casino but we have some great matches from that time as well. SPEED DATING WEDDING STORY
Stepping out into a new life together

Kim Dingwall is a born matchmaker.
As owner and manager of Stepping Out Singles, an agency that helps people find compatible dates and mates, she is always on the lookout for possible matches. Dingwall is also an incurable romantic who believes all people need sometimes is little nudge to push them in the right direction.
Steve Jackson and his new bride Brenda are "graduates" of her program. The two married in Prince George on July 5 and then went on a romantic honeymoon to Hawaii. They did have a little help from Cupid a.k.a. Dingwall who met Jackson, a car salesperson, when he became a member of Stepping Out Singles.
"I found Steve to be very outgoing and a ton of fun, so I figured he would be a good candidate for speed dating. Brenda was not a member when I met her but she came out to one of our events and won one of two free memberships as a door prize," said Dingwall.
Jackson his future bride at an event that was open to the public although some events are for members only.
"At the public events, we get out about two-thirds non-members, so I thought that would be a good opportunity for Steve to meet someone. Then when I contacted Brenda about her membership (prize), she told me she that and Steve had matched up at the event and were now dating and that things were going well. She said that perhaps things would continue to go well and she would not need the membership after all. Sure enough, that's how it worked out."
Exactly one year after they met, Steve proposed to her in a romantic scene right out of the movie Pretty Woman.
"I basically serenaded her under the window," said Steve who had just returned from his honeymoon. "We had a beautiful wedding and an incredible honeymoon in Waikiki Beach. Now we're back at the races at home."
For her part, Dingwall is happy for the newlyweds.
